Hartley Miller

News Director

Hartley is the News Director for Vista Radio’s B.C. North division, as well as the morning news anchor for 94.3 The GOAT and Country 97FM. He has served as the colour commentator for Prince George Cougars home games for 13 seasons. Hartley has been a fixture on the airwaves since 1979. He is the author of You Don’t Say, a collection of his most memorable sports quotes. Hartley is married with two children and five grandchildren.

Darin Bain

Reporter

Darin is a news reporter for Vista Radio's Prince George stations. His career started in the Cariboo in 2020, working as a News Reporter in both 100 Mile House and Williams Lake before making the move to Prince George in late 2021.

Zachary Barrowcliff

Reporter

Zachary is a news reporter for 94.3 the GOAT and Country 97fm in Prince George. His time as a news reporter began in Williams Lake, B.C., spending roughly two years with the Vista radio stations, then making the move up to PG in October, 2024.

Logan Flint

Reporter

Logan is the News Reporter and Afternoon News Anchor for The Moose in Smithers, covering stories from Burns Lake to Hazelton along Highway 16. Born and raised in Smithers, he's grown up around radio and has spent time as an on-air announcer for the station's afternoon and morning shows.

Pat Matthews

Reporter

Pat started working in the Cariboo in 1989 after spending several years in radio in Terrace. He worked in the creative department until 2017 when he switched over to news covering Williams Lake and the South Cariboo as well as being the afternoon host on Country 840 in 100 Mile House.

Teryn Midzain

Reporter

Teryn is a News Reporter based in Quesnel, B.C. He started his career in local journalism in Abbotsford, B.C, where he attended the University of the Fraser Valley studying English and Media Communications. He spent six months living in London, UK, studying journalism and working in the field before returning to focus on building a long-term career. A passionate sports enthusiast, he moonlights as an amateur race car driver and plays Dungeons & Dragons when he is not on the clock or out in nature.

Brendan Pawliw

Since moving to Prince George in 2015, Brendan has covered local sports including the WHL’s Prince George Cougars, Prince George Spruce Kings, UNBC Timberwolves, Cariboo Cougars AAA, and Northern Capitals U18 female hockey teams. Brendan is the news voice on 94.3 The Goat and Country 97 FM. Outside of work, he officiates box lacrosse and fastball, sits on the Prince George Sports Hall of Fame board, and co-hosts the Hockey North podcast.

Emily is the provincial news reporter for Vista Radio, based in Victoria, B.C. She has worked in radio for more than a decade, and was previously on the airwaves as a broadcaster for The Canadian Press in Toronto.
